ZKpad — what a frog?
ZKPad is a fundraising platform that let the projects to launch their tokens on StarkNet in a fair way. It´s perfectly balanced between a decentralized launchpad and a decentralized project incubator.
How I know that it will be fair? Why should I use ZKPad if there are so many others on the market?
Launchpads, also known as crypto incubators or IDO platforms, are places that allow projects, based on blockchains, to raise capital giving access to early-stage token sales for their group of investors. Launching a project through a launchpad offers security to both founders and investors. ZKpad team did a deep research comparing all existing launchpads, their offers, user experience and feedbacks and found out some critical problems that will be avoided in this new project.
ZKPad will apply unique lottery system.
All ZKPad lottery tickets will be tokenized (ERC721) and can be traded like NFTs on different marketplaces. Users will be able to sell their lottery tickets, if they are not willing to participate in the upcoming IDO. Other users will be able to purchase those NFTs and increase the allocation in that particular project. That is one of the key points of fair system, you´ll always have an opportunity to make a profit with ZKPad.
ZkPad is going to use Chainlink VRF and L1-L2 to reflect lottery winners on the blockchain. Chainlink’s random number generator, combined with Starknet’s scalability, allows lotteries to run entirely on-chain. This is another strong argument in favor of ZKPad system, as currently participated in other launchpad lotteries you don’t know why you won or didn’t win the lottery. It should be completely transparent and public, so that anyone can analyze the data and make sure that the system is fair for everyone.
ZKPad will allow to users lock up not only their $ZKP tokens but also liquidity tokens will also be allowed for lock which will ensure the long-term stability of the protocol. The longer you lock the tokens, the more $xZKP tokens you will receive, the more chances you will have to get an allocation in IDO.
The IDO on ZkPad will be based on tiers as we believe this is the fairest way to reward our early adopters who want to lock up their tokens.
- Tier 1–100 $ZKP — 1 lottery ticket
- Tier 2–1 000 $ZKP — 12 lottery tickets
- Tier 3–5 000 $ZKP — 100 lottery tickets
- Tier 4–25 000 $ZKP — guaranteed allocation
Instead of using a simple tiering, like other launchpads are doing, here the chance of getting a distribution does not depend on how much and for how long you bet. For make it even more fair, ZKPad is going to apply an acceleration parameter p, to prevent the dominance of whales and encourage better decentralization. In the future, ZKPad will offer other solutions for investors and users, such as DYCO or others. All users will have safe ways to keep the excitement of early investing without the burden of potential loss of funds.
